A textured beanie

Horwood is a casual unixex hat with a decorative cable and moss stitch striped pattern.

Designed to be worn with 2 inches (5cm) of negative ease, it can be worn as a slouchy hat or a beanie.

The pattern includes 4 sizes, from child to large adult. Knitted in the round, from the bottom up, this hat is quick and simple to knit.

Sizes:

To fit: toddler, child/teen, woman and man

41 (46, 51, 61) cm circumference / 20 (25, 25, 30) cm depth

16 (18, 20, 22) inch circumference / 8 (10, 10, 12) inch depth

Yarn:

DK weight yarn.

Shown in Socks That Rock Heavyweight (320m per 200g ball; 100% merino), colourway raspberry moose (purple) and British Breed Yarns Light Grey Welsh DK (107m in 50g; 100% wool) colourway light grey

Needles & Notions:

3.75 mm (US 5) 40 cm (16 inch) circular needle or double pointed needles

Gauge:

20 stitches and 28 rows per 10cm x 10cm measured over stocking stitch.
