Dianthus
A lacy beret
One of the first knitted gifts I ever made was a lace scarf for my mum. She loved it and wore it many times over that winter and requested a hat to match. Sadly, within a couple of months of her request we found out she had pancreatic cancer and she died aged 59, just two weeks later.
I am dedicating this pattern in her memory and to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK in the hope that one day a cure can be found for this terrible disease. Pancreatic cancer survival rates are one of the worst in the world. Please consider making a donation on my just giving page to Pancreatic Cancer UK for this pattern. https://www.justgiving.com/Dianthuspattern
